EverTrust Health Share exists to make healthcare more affordable, transparent, and understandable for everyone — not just paying members. We are a nonprofit community organized around education, advocacy, and mutual support.
Our Mission
EverTrust's mission is to promote the social welfare and common good by improving community understanding of healthcare affordability, cost transparency, patient navigation, and cooperative approaches to managing medical expenses. In furtherance of this mission, a substantial portion of EverTrust's time and resources is devoted to community education, public outreach, open-access advocacy, and need-based assistance activities available to the general public.
How EverTrust serves the community.
EverTrust is not organized for profit and does not operate for the benefit of private shareholders or insiders. Our activities are designed to further the common good in five ways.
Improving affordability & access
Our cooperative model and advocacy services help individuals navigate the healthcare system, understand costs, and pursue fair, transparent pricing — reducing the financial burden of healthcare on families and communities.
Educating the public
Through our website, educational materials, and public communications, we advance understanding of patient rights, medical billing, cost-sharing arrangements, and responsible healthcare decision-making.
Open access to resources
Our optional no-cost Community-Access Membership lets anyone receive healthcare-affordability information, advocacy support, and educational resources without contributing to the medical-expense-sharing program.
The Charitable Sharing Fund
Need-based assistance toward medical expenses, open to members and non-members alike — a tangible public benefit for individuals facing financial hardship in accessing care.
Governance safeguards
Our Board oversees related-party arrangements and compensation under a written conflict-of-interest policy, ensuring resources are used to advance our mission rather than private benefit.

EverTrust was created to challenge the way people think about healthcare. We are a nonprofit dedicated to healthcare affordability, transparency, and community education — not an insurance company. Our cost-sharing membership is one part of that broader mission: members voluntarily share each other's eligible medical expenses with full transparency.
Our educational resources, advocacy, and Charitable Sharing Fund are open to everyone, regardless of faith or background. We welcome anyone who shares a commitment to mutual care and responsible healthcare decisions.
Every member and community-access participant has access to real advocacy support and the peace of mind that comes from knowing a community stands behind them. Any individual benefit is incidental to our broader purpose of serving the community.
What every paid member agrees to.
These principles apply specifically to EverTrust's optional cost-sharing membership. Every paid member affirms them when they join — our free Community-Access Membership carries no such obligations.

Open to all faiths and backgrounds
EverTrust Health Share welcomes members of all faiths and backgrounds. There is no faith requirement to join.
EverTrust Health Share is a nonprofit organization advancing healthcare affordability, transparency, and patient advocacy for the whole community. EverTrust provides free educational resources, general advocacy support, public outreach, and need-based medical assistance to members and non-members alike. Individuals and families may also choose to participate in a voluntary medical-expense-sharing program governed by the Member Guidelines. EverTrust is not insurance, and participation in sharing is voluntary.
